An Abiding Solicitude

An Abiding Solicitude short poem

(Trite thoughts on marriage, how it starts and how it lasts)

Soulful words that allay and lull the heart

Astral ebullience, those moments oft impart…

Smiles that hold some mischief, some virtue…

Glory and happiness, oaths, a good fortitude.

Love dreamy, walks cool with beatific tunes…

The minds and hearts, then happily intrigued!

Chimerical themes and akin whimsical ovations,

Thereupon in trance, harbors up a happy haven.

A voyage esoteric, yet with hearts rosy, blithe

Set surely, even on paths uphill to be obliged

The premise facile, a long sojourn to the ridge

Affections abiding, deft upon the craggy edge

The deuce peruse and plume on their very own

On an endeavor, uniquely theirs to be toned

For the couplet shall decipher life’s purport..

Harmonize a dwelling, on the footing of comfort.

Facile and enduring with hassles of the times

A chance on hopes, ends as an inseparable twine.

A bushel of memories shaping up to a finesse

A moment’s reverie then, is a feeling blessed..

A few words strung together on inspiration, or a few thoughts penned down for clarity. A hobby that has consistently matched to represent the inspirations in me. Most often, they are from incidents and trends happening around the world, books or articles that I may parse through, or some noble cause that had greatly impressed me. I have been writing poems, and short stories, since I had been 6 years. Music and poetry walk hand in hand; good music, good poetry shall always stay my favorite pastime.
