Sacrificial Love

Sacrificial Love prose poem

Today I saw the bird which I had always looked upon.
Ahh ! Noble and Majestic,as evergreen as before.

Her beauty which has always sought for the freedom,
still flamed my mind.
My world only left a flicker of her essence,
but my eyes desired more of her presence.

She embodied the purest of love which I ever aspired.
Waiting for her,I am always desperate.

Feathers which are red like love,
eyes which are piercing through yours,
voice like a silence in symphony.
In her divinity this is all I can reminisce.

The warmness of her wings I can hardly regurgitate.
The coldness in her aura I always emphasized.

Her mesmerising voice enchants me with never ending dreams.
But finding her today is like a dream come true.

She is on a journey I can hardly navigate,
guided by the enigma of stars and the moon she continues on her way.

I wish that I can tell her to be with me forever.
But a soul like her never bides by the cage.
Her freedom is her only companion,
how can I tear it away.

Let my love be not selfish but a symbol of sacrifice .
May she find her love and fly in the blue forever.

Fail In Love

Fail In Love short poem

She was a traveling soul. The galaxy resting above her nose. I’d sit & stare. Wondering where the stars would go next. Both young & in love I let go. Tracing together swirls of color. The planets all together aligned.

Please take my hand, for I am blind. I’ve lost my path and my sense of touch. I’ve fallen, for my hands and feet are behind. Please let me hear, for all is in a hush. My wrist and ankles
